Description

A café-style twist on classic overnight oats with a soft, creamy oat base topped with airy whipped foam. Perfect for an indulgent yet healthy breakfast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Oat Base:
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • For the Whipped Foam:
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream or plant-based whipping cream (barista-style)
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar or preferred sweetener
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract or flavoring of choice
  • Optional Toppings:
  • Fresh berries
  • Cocoa powder
  • Crushed nuts
  • Syrup drizzle

Instructions

  1. In a bowl or jar, combine rolled oats, milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir well.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight until the oats are soft and creamy.
  3. In a chilled mixing bowl, add cold cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Whip using a hand mixer until soft peaks form.
  4. Spoon the chilled oats into serving jars. Top with a generous layer of whipped foam.
  5. Garnish with berries, cocoa powder, nuts, or syrup. Serve immediately for the best texture.

Notes

For dairy-free foam, use coconut cream or oat-based barista creamers. Avoid overly watery milk for the oats to keep the texture thick. Whip the foam fresh in the morning for best results.
