Description

A warm, creamy breakfast bowl featuring cream of rice, sweetened with honey and topped with fresh fruits and cinnamon.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cream of rice
  • 2 cups milk or almond milk
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • ½ cup mixed berries
  • 1 apple (diced, sautéed with cinnamon)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Heat milk with a pinch of salt in a saucepan.
  2. Slowly whisk in cream of rice and simmer 3–5 minutes until creamy.
  3. Stir in honey and cinnamon.
  4. Serve warm topped with bananas, berries, and apples.

Notes

Swap fruits seasonally. Add nut butter for protein. Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat with milk.
