Ingredients

- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 cups filtered water
- 2 tbsp live probiotic starter (kefir, yogurt, or sourdough)
- Optional: pinch of salt
Instructions
- Place oats in a bowl and cover with water.
- Add starter and stir well.
- Cover loosely and ferment at room temperature 12–24 hours.
- Cook with additional water/milk until creamy.
- Top with sweet or savory toppings.
Notes
Adjust fermentation time to taste; refrigerate to pause fermentation.
