Description

This baked overnight oats recipe is easy to prep and loaded with flavor. A warm, make-ahead breakfast the whole family will love.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 cup berries (fresh or frozen)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together oats, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and applesauce.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients and stir until well mixed.
  4. Gently fold in the berries.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 8×8 baking dish.
  6. Cover and refrigerate overnight (at least 8 hours).
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  8. Bake for 45 minutes, or until the center is set and top is golden.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.
